Bob Springer the founder and curator of the Texas Basketball Museum in Carmine opened in the summer of 2008. Over 3000 visitors from all over the State and the World have stop by to visit.

The Museum features The Texas High School Basketball Hall of Fame, memorabilia and historic pieces that have been collected over the years from out- standing programs, and Legends of Texas HS Basket-ball.

Besides, Bob’s personal 45 year collection of basketball memorabilia, everything that was on display at the Texas Sports

Carmine is located half way between Houston and Austin, Texas one block south of Highway 290, half-way between Brenham and Gidding.
